Description

Our client is a well-established International Bank, who have a strong presence in Singapore. They are looking for VP - Product Controller to join their Finance team.

This role will look after a number of products, specifically within FX and Rates, both vanilla and structured products, working closely with Front Office and other business functions to provide P&L support, as well as advisory and value-add to key stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Responsible for P&L control and governance across a number of entities.
2. Take ownership of calculating, verifying and reporting of daily revenue to key internal stakeholders
3. Month-end procedures including Balance Sheet substantiation
4. Interact with key internal stakeholders to resolve queries on booking, accounting and valuations
5. Support cross-regional booking, product initiatives and projects

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Finance/Accounting or Economics.
2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in Product Control in a Financial Services environment.
3. Knowledge of FX and Rates products is essential- both vanilla and structured products.
4. Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to effectively collaborate and build credibility with senior stakeholders
