We are currently partnering with a leading international financial services firm who have a growing presence in Asia, focused predominantly on Financial Markets activities across a range of products.

They are looking to hire a Business Manager for the APAC region, a role which will act as a key leadership partner to the COO, driving operational excellence and regional growth - and are open to consider candidates at both VP and ED (and equivalent) levels.

This role will be responsible for the following:

1. Partner with the COO to translate high-level regional strategy into actionable plans, defined milestones, and measurable outcomes to drive sustainable growth.
2. Act as the central integration point across front office, operations, finance, risk, and technology to remove growth barriers and streamline business initiatives.
3. Design and maintain robust dashboards to track key performance indicators, proactively identifying execution risks and implementing effective solutions.
4. Lead complex change initiatives and embed scalable operating models that improve regional efficiency while supporting new business activity and market entry.
5. Build and manage relationships across global and regional teams, delegating effectively to influence outcomes and promote a high-performance culture.
6. Oversee regulatory, legal entity, and control initiatives - and ensure compliance with the company's regulatory requirements and operational risk framework

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. 10+ years of Business Management, COO, or Transformation / Strategy roles within Financial Services, ideally Financial Markets focused
2. Proven track record of successfully driving large-scale, cross-functional change initiatives within highly regulated environments.
3. Ability to partner with and influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
