The business operates a collaborative, high-performance finance function that partners closely with treasury, risk, and senior leadership.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance/Treasury professional to step into a key leadership role, initially on a contract basis (3-6 months) with a strong likelihood of permanent conversion.
This position sits within a lean, high-impact team and plays a critical role in overseeing financial control and treasury-related activities. You will work closely with both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring the integrity of reporting while acting as a key business partner to treasury and finance stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight and review of daily P&L production, balance sheet reconciliations, and control processes
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of treasury product accounting
- Leading review processes across offshore teams and providing guidance where required
- Partnering with treasury, risk, and senior finance stakeholders to provide commercial insights
- Driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls
- Participating in stakeholder meetings across multiple time zones (including occasional early/late calls)
- CA or CPA qualification, relevant degree in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years' experience across finance, treasury, product control, or audit
- Prior experience within banking or financial services (strongly preferred)
- Strong technical expertise in P&L, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Solid understanding of treasury products and accounting treatment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
