About the Role
The Senior Occupational Therapist is an experienced and highly competent clinician who as a member of the interdisciplinary team, delivers quality services to clients within SA Brain Injury Rehabilitation Services, and clinical/professional leadership in the area of brain injury to occupational therapists working within SA BIRS, across Central Adelaide Local Health Network and South Australia. The Senior Occupational Therapist in collaboration with other members of the team, is accountable for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of client-centred, goal-based occupational therapy services for clients with complex presentations, in home and community and outpatient service settings. The Senior Occupational Therapist may represent occupational therapy and broader allied health services on committees and working parties responsible for development of models of care, patient pathways, and implementation of CALHN and SA Health initiatives as required.
About you
We are looking for an experienced occupational therapist who can deliver high-quality, client-focused care and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Degree enabling registration with the OT Board of Australia and AHPRA
- Skilled in managing clients with neurological conditions and complex needs
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities
- Experience in clinical assessment, treatment and supervision of staff or students
- Knowledge of rehabilitation best practice and relevant community services
