Job Description

• Lead mergers and acquisitions projects, focusing on greenfield/ brownfield investment opportunities in the energy sector.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence, financial modelling, and risk assessments for proposed transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of M&A initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to guide investment decisions within the energy and natural resources sector.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance requirements in M&A activities.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 8-12+ years of experience in investments, corporate development, private equity, infrastructure, or project finance
• Strong background in energy, power, renewables, or adjacent ecosystem sectors
• Proven experience executing M&A, joint ventures, or minority investments
• Solid financial modeling, valuation, and commercial assessment skills
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, cross-functional, and senior-stakeholder environment
