Description
Fox Rothschild, a national law firm, is seeking an accomplished litigation attorney to join its Litigation Department in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to handle sophisticated matters, contribute meaningfully to case strategy, and collaborate with a dynamic litigation team in a fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate will bring at least ten years of relevant litigation experience, sound judgment, strong advocacy skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Experience handling oil and gas matters is particularly valued. We are not accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Active license to practice law in Oklahoma.
- Ten or more years of relevant litigation experience.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills and a strong academic record.
- Substantial general litigation experience, including courtroom appearances and depositions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a high-performing litigation team.
Preferred Experience
- Litigation involving oil and gas matters.
- Federal judicial clerkship.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
