Description

As a Senior Associate Attorney, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing legal counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, claim handling, and dispute resolution.
• Assisting with a caseload of complex insurance coverage cases, and litigation claims.
• Conducting thorough and analytical research to support legal proceedings and to provide strategic advice to clients.
• Representing clients in litigation, mediation, and negotiations.
• Analyzing and reviewing insurance policies and related documents.
• Staying updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance coverage, and other areas of law.
• Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Requirements

To be considered for a Senior Associate Attorney position, you should possess the following

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or insurance bad faith litigation.
• Admission to WA State Bar.  Admission to Oregon State Bar, a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism.
