A leading global sovereign wealth fund is seeking a Senior Associate / Associate to join its APAC Industrials team in Singapore. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a high-calibre investment platform focused on long-term value creation, with close collaboration across global teams.

The Opportunity
This role will be part of the APAC Industrials team in Singapore, playing a key role in expanding APAC coverage, particularly across the Indian market.
Unlike traditional private equity environments, this position emphasises deep investment analysis, long-term asset ownership, and strategic alignment with global investment priorities.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders in both Singapore and the global headquarters, supporting investment decisions across a diverse set of industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial modelling and investment analysis across APAC industrial opportunities
• Support end-to-end deal evaluation, including commercial due diligence and investment thesis development
• Prepare high-quality investment committee (IC) materials and presentations
• Perform market research and data gathering to support long-term investment strategies
• Collaborate closely with global sector specialists and senior leadership across regions
• Contribute to coverage across sectors including business services, automotive, logistics, transportation, chemicals, materials, capital goods, and automation

Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of experience in investment banking (M&A) or private equity
• Strong exposure to buy-side deal execution and investment analysis (GP or relevant IB experience)
• Proven ability in financial modelling, valuation, and preparing investment materials
• Prior experience in large-cap institutions preferred
• Familiarity with the Indian market is advantageous, with a preference for candidates already based in Singapore.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across cross-border stakeholders
