Our Client is seeking a reliable and attentive Direct Support Professional to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a group home in the Staten Island area. Competitive Compensation: $17- $19 per hour

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
Assorted shifts available for part time and full schedule. Weekends are available. Must be flexible.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
*Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
*Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
*Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
*Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
*Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances.
*Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
*Must be comfortable toileting.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*CPR
*First Aid
*TB (Tuberculosis)
*SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) not required but helpful.
*AMAP(Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
