About Us:
For some 26 years, Physiotherapy for Women (PFW), a private practice based in Lockleys, SA, has provided excellent physiotherapy services to women in every life stage. This includes women’s health, pelvic health and exercise physiotherapy services. Our caring professional approach highlights each woman’s unique needs and goals in their management plan. This focus has produced a loyal base of clients, with self-referral being strong. PFW is also well known to many medical health centres in Adelaide and the western suburbs, resulting in regular referrals from GP’s, obstetricians, orthopaedic specialists and other health practices.
We strive to maintain a friendly physio and reception team in an environment that is family orientated. Our admin and reception team provide support to all our physios within this pleasing, professional work space. PFW understands the importance of worktime flexibility being provided for personal and family responsibilities. This positive team culture has resulted in excellent retention of physio staff. About The Role:
The position provides an amazing career development opportunity for an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist. It is advantageous, but not essential, if the applicant has achieved post graduate qualifications in either women’s health physiotherapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy or exercise science courses. At least 3 years working in a private practice or similar physiotherapy setting is desirable, where competency in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, manual therapy and exercise therapy, is well developed. A passion for progressing clinical skills and knowledge in musculoskeletal conditions, pertinent to any women’s health stage, is essential. Mentoring, support and generous CPD funding will be provided to advance your professional skills and special interests in women’s health conditions and related rehab exercise.
The part-time role requires 10 to 16 hours per week spread over two or three days. One work session will require a late afternoon time slot. More session hours could be provided based on caseload bookings and personal desire. A negotiable salary will be based on your past performance, skills, experience and qualifications, the hourly payment figure being decided with open discussion.

You will have:
A strong commitment to delivering high quality, empathic, patient centred care
Appropriate knowledge and skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, relevant to common and challenging women’s health presentations
A strong interest in running small group physiotherapy exercise classes
A desire to be part of a committed team in a private physio practice
A warm personality with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
An insatiable curiosity to always learn and develop as a physiotherapist
A constructive can-do attitude which welcomes some challenges
An ability to work unsupervised with a sense of time management
An interest in maintaining one’s own health with an active lifestyle
Requirements:
Full AHPRA registration with no restrictions related to working in Australia
Current professional indemnity insurance
Valid Working with Children Check
Current National Police Clearance
