Our client is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team! A well-established organisation within a complex service environment is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their corporate support team on a fixed-term basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while supporting internal stakeholders across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing payroll activities accurately and to deadlines
• Managing payroll changes across the employee lifecycle, including commencements and exits
• Responding to payroll enquiries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
• Supporting payroll audits, checks, and compliance activities
• Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting as required
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure a high standard of service delivery

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in an end-to-end payroll position
• Sound understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation
• Confidence interpreting awards and employment conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Well-developed communication skills and a customer-centric approach
• Strong Excel skills and experience using payroll systems
