The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team part-time for 2 to 3 days a week. We offer highly flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle.
Your primary location will be our historic Dowd Drug pharmacy in Guthrie Center. However, for those interested in a change of scenery or additional shifts, there is also may be the opportunity to log hours at our sister pharmacy, Adel Health Mart, located in nearby Adel, IA.
What You Will Do
Provide exceptional, patient-first care and build lasting relationships within the local community.
Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide comprehensive counseling.
Answer patient questions regarding prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and general health concerns.
Collaborate with our close-knit team of pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Medication therapy management
Vaccinations
Help maintain our 120-year legacy of outstanding service and community trust.

Requirements
Active and in good standing Pharmacy License in the state of Iowa.
A friendly, patient-centric approach to healthcare.
Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
Previous retail or independent pharmacy experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
