Overview

The Outside Services Attendant provides customer service to members and guests while supporting golf operations through bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. The role includes staging and storing golf carts, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use, and delivering golf-related services to help create a seamless and enjoyable golfer experience.

Experience Required

• Preferred high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, and lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
• Availability to work weekends and/or holidays as required and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support including cleaning clubs and delivering them to cars as needed.
• Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member and guest experience.
• Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track usage, clean and inspect carts, and report issues to the Golf Shop.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, parking lot, and pro shop entrance.
• Set up and manage practice areas, ensuring they are stocked with range balls and equipment for daily use.
• Collaborate with golf operations staff including range attendants, marshals, and starters to ensure efficient service.
• Complete daily assignments in designated areas and maintain club standards, including organized and fully stocked work areas and Golf Shop support.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management and follow all company, club, and department policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism, follow safe working practices, participate in daily briefings, and support personal and professional growth.
