OB/GYN Opportunity | Monterey Bay, California | $450K Base + $600K+ Potential
A respected public healthcare system in the Monterey Bay region is seeking an OB/GYN to join an established, collaborative women's health team serving a diverse and medically complex patient population. This mission-driven organization offers a supportive culture, advanced technology, and the opportunity to build a thriving full-spectrum OB/GYN practice in one of California's most desirable coastal regions.
Position Highlights
- Join 7 OB/GYN physicians, 1 dedicated OB physician, and 1 NP
- Full-spectrum OB/GYN practice with approximately 50/50 OB and GYN mix
- Flexibility to tailor practice toward more OB or surgical GYN volume
- Support for high-risk OB, VBACs, and TOLACs
- Average 20-26 patients per day depending on provider preference
Schedule & Call
- 4-day clinical schedule with dedicated administrative time
- Approximately 48 call shifts annually
- Protected post-call day off
- Additional compensation available for extra call coverage
- 24/7 OBED and laborist support
Facilities & Support
- 263-bed regional medical center
- Level III NICU staffed in partnership with Stanford neonatologists
- Da Vinci X robotic systems available for certified surgeons
- 10 labor rooms with wireless monitoring and labor support amenities
- Dedicated L&D ORs plus access to the main OR for GYN surgery
- Strong nursing, ancillary staff, and administrative support
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary of $450,000 with productivity structure
- Earning potential exceeding $600,000+ once fully ramped
- $100,000 recruitment incentive
