The Role
The Membership and Operations Officer will build and maintain relationships with assigned member client associations, including arranging meetings ensuring that services are being utilised. They will also assist with general business operation including:
- Maintaining regular contact and building relationships with assigned members, including ensuring contact every 6 months
- Ensuring assigned members are aware of current promotions, services and events
- Increasing member attendance at events and boosting registration sales
- Implementing membership renewal process (sending renewal invoices, chasing overdue invoices)
- Upselling memberships and extra services for existing members
- Responding promptly to member and prospect queries
- Overseeing member surveys (4 per year)
- Assisting at member events and annual conferences
- Maintaining database records
- Assisting general business administration, HR and Technology as required
- Ensure compliance with WH&S requirements + keep policies and procedures up to date
- Provide technology assistance and act as a trouble-shooter
About the candidate
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident with no work restrictions
- Have a Bachelor degree or higher
- Is fluent in English
- Have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Outgoing and commercially minded
- Ability to establish priorities, manage time, adapt to change, and work collaboratively with others
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Is self-motivated and solution-focused
