Litigation Associate — Neuman Law, P.A.
Boca Raton, FL
Neuman Law, PA is seeking a driven litigation associate to join our growing Boca Raton team. We represent corporate clients, closely held businesses, and individuals in construction, real estate, community association, and business disputes throughout South Florida and beyond. Our modern office offers a collegial, supportive environment and the technology to work efficiently in and out of the office.
This role isn't a supporting one. You'll run meaningful pieces of cases from intake through resolution, with mentoring from senior attorneys, and work directly with decision-makers on both sides of the table.
What you'll do:
- Investigate new matters, gather facts and documentation, and shape initial case strategy
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents
- Negotiate settlements
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Appear at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Supervise paralegals
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Try cases when necessary
What you bring:
- 4+ years of litigation experience, ideally in construction, real estate, community association, or business disputes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail
- Working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving ability
- A talent for building client rapport
- An entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset and appetite for growth with the firm
