Grow Through Life Mental Clinic is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our remote telehealth team. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for new clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to gather essential information that informs their personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that each session is designed based on the individual needs and progress of your clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations to uphold client confidentiality and ensure ethical medical practices.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in regular consultations with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to craft holistic treatment approaches.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving treatment efficacy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge about their treatment options and available resources to promote informed decision-making.
• Staying informed of the latest advancements in mental health care and integrating these insights into practice to ensure clients receive the best possible support and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will support come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and stress management. Your skills and expertise will provide them with the support necessary to achieve lasting mental wellness, navigate their difficulties, and work towards fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Strong capability in employing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and a desire to tailor treatment plans to meet individual client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to manage complex client situations and enhance overall therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms, demonstrating adaptability to technology-driven treatment environments.
