Job Description
As an Investment Associate (Private Equity), your main responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate, structure, and execute complex investment transactions, including special situations such as PIPEs, convertible bonds (CBs), and other structured or hybrid instruments
- Conduct deep fundamental analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and downside risk assessment for public and private investments
- Participate in deal structuring, terms negotiation, and execution across the full investment lifecycle
- Monitor portfolio positions, assess ongoing risks and catalysts, and provide investment recommendations to the investment committee
- Work closely with internal teams and external counterparties, including banks, legal advisors, and management teams
A successful Investment Associate (Private Equity) should have:
- A degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment roles
- Mandatory buy-side experience (e.g., hedge fund, private credit, private equity, special situations, or long/short public equities)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and execute complex transactions, particularly special situation investments such as PIPEs and convertible bonds
- Solid understanding of capital markets, legal documentation, and deal structuring
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to clearly articulate investment theses
- Prior experience in special situations, event-driven, or opportunistic strategies
