Job Description

As an Investment Associate (Private Equity), your main responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate, structure, and execute complex investment transactions, including special situations such as PIPEs, convertible bonds (CBs), and other structured or hybrid instruments
• Conduct deep fundamental analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and downside risk assessment for public and private investments
• Participate in deal structuring, terms negotiation, and execution across the full investment lifecycle
• Monitor portfolio positions, assess ongoing risks and catalysts, and provide investment recommendations to the investment committee
• Work closely with internal teams and external counterparties, including banks, legal advisors, and management teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Investment Associate (Private Equity) should have:

• A degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment roles
• Mandatory buy-side experience (e.g., hedge fund, private credit, private equity, special situations, or long/short public equities)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and execute complex transactions, particularly special situation investments such as PIPEs and convertible bonds
• Solid understanding of capital markets, legal documentation, and deal structuring
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to clearly articulate investment theses
• Prior experience in special situations, event-driven, or opportunistic strategies
