Description
OverviewBack Nine is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Head Golf Professional to lead instruction, programming, and daily operations at our state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator facility. This leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through golf instruction, simulator technology, leagues, tournaments, and community engagement.
The ideal candidate is passionate about growing the game of golf through technology, enjoys working with players of all abilities, and is excited to help build a vibrant golf community in a modern indoor simulator environment.
Experience Required
- Experience in golf instruction, golf operations, or golf entertainment venues.
- PGA Membership or PGA Associate status preferred but not required.
- Experience with simulator platforms. We use Full Swing at Back Nine Spring Hill, FL.
- Strong understanding of simulator data.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Experience organizing leagues, tournaments, instructional programs, and golf events.
- Ability to thrive in an indoor golf simulator environment.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
- Experience creating social media content.
- Some retail merchandising and point-of-sale experience.
- Coaching and player development experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the indoor golf facility, ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide private, semi-private, and group golf instruction using simulator technology.
- Develop and manage lesson packages, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and corporate events.
- Oversee simulator scheduling, bay utilization, and golf programming to maximize customer engagement and revenue.
- Assist guests with simulator operation, technology features, virtual course selection, and gameplay.
- Collaborate with ownership to create marketing campaigns, member events, instructional content, and community partnerships.
- Maintain simulator equipment, golf technology, and facility standards to ensure a premium experience.
- Stay current on golf instruction methods, simulator technology, and industry best practices.
