Position Summary, Duties and Responsibilities
As a Front Desk Member, your primary purpose is to be the welcoming face that greets guests at the Arvada Aquatics Center and/or Lake Arbor Swimming Pool. Your role is vital in creating positive and memorable experiences for swimmers and visitors alike.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Greet and delight guests with outstanding customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Efficiently process pass sales and activity registrations, helping guests enjoy their time at the pool hassle-free.
- Smoothly manage room rentals and group reservations, ensuring all arrangements run seamlessly.
- Facilitate fantastic birthday parties for celebrants, making their special day unforgettable.
- Accurately handle transactions for cash, checks, and credit cards to maintain financial integrity.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide information about pool policies, schedules, and activities to guests.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the lifeguard team and other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable pool environment.
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- Must be 17 years old.
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
- Enjoyment of serene mornings and evenings by the pool.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Excellent attention to detail when handling transactions and reservations.
Education and Experience
- Nio Education requirement - All levels welcome.
- No prior experience is needed; we will provide all the necessary training.
Work Environment
- Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, snow, and humidity.
- Work may occur in environments with poor acoustics, distractions, or high activity levels.
- Some tasks will be performed in wet, humid, or damp environments, such as pools or aquatic facilities.
Physical Activities
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or sit on the floor as needed during activities or tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking loudly, when necessary, in noisy or outdoor environments.
