Indian Bayou Golf Club is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This position serves as a key point of contact for members and guests, ensuring an exceptional golf experience through outstanding service, organization, and operational support within the golf shop.

Experience Required

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Basic knowledge of golf preferred
• Retail or hospitality experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer programs
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Occasional lifting of merchandise (up to 25 lbs)
• Ability to work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner upon arrival
• Manage tee time check-ins and assist with daily tee sheet operations
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for merchandise, green fees, and other transactions
• Maintain accurate records of play and ensure proper billing procedures
• Assist with merchandising, stocking, and presentation of golf shop inventory
• Answer phone calls, schedule tee times, and respond to general inquiries
• Coordinate with outside services staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areas
• Support tournament operations and special events as needed
