Position Overview

Sky Ranch Golf Course is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Seasonal Head Golf Professional for the 2026 season (May 1 - November 15). This is an excellent opportunity for a developing golf professional to step into a leadership role at a community-focused facility featuring approximately 18,000 annual rounds, 40 golf carts, a full practice range, and TrackMan technology.

 

The Golf Professional will oversee all daily golf operations and work closely with the General Manager and management company to deliver an exceptional player experience while supporting operational and financial goals.
Areas of Responsibility

• Oversee all golf operations, including tee sheet management and pace of play for approximately 18,000 rounds annually.
• Manage golf shop operations with a focus on customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and daily transactions.
• Coordinate and execute 12 annual tournaments and 3 seasonal leagues.
• Supervise and maintain the 40-cart fleet, including cleanliness, scheduling, and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee practice facilities and TrackMan operations to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
• Assist with membership administration and private cart storage programs.
• Train, schedule, and lead seasonal staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and compliance efforts in coordination with the General Manager and management company.
• Serve as the primary on-site professional for instruction, rules guidance, and player relations.

The Seasonal Golf Professional is responsible for delivering a first-class golf experience at Sky Ranch Golf Course. This role balances operational leadership, customer interaction, and staff development while working collaboratively with course leadership.
Compensation

Hourly compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. A potential bonus program may be available based on the growth and expansion of tournaments and the successful execution of events, instruction, and club repair services.
Qualifications

• PGA Member or Associate.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience with tournament software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge of golf operations, rules, and etiquette.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Working understanding of Microsoft Office
