Description

Our client is a reputable Chinese asset management company with a strong presence in Greater China. They provide comprehensive investment solutions and manage a diverse portfolio of assets for their clients. They are currently hiring a Fund Operation Manager for their Hong Kong office.

This is a good opportunity for an experienced fund operations professional to join a dynamic asset management platform and support the full fund operations lifecycle. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day fund operation activities, covering investor subscriptions and redemptions, distribution processing, trade settlement, expense payments, reconciliation and NAV oversight
2. Act as a key contact for external service providers such as fund administrators, custodians and vendors, ensuring operational issues are resolved efficiently
3. Provide practical solutions and guidance on operational matters to keep daily processes running smoothly
4. Support KYC, AML and CFT reviews, including due diligence and ongoing compliance monitoring
5. Assist with annual fund/product audits and regulatory submissions
6. Contribute to ad hoc projects and other assignments as required

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
2. Around 3-5 years of relevant experience in asset management or fund operations; candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position
3. Understanding of Hong Kong regulatory and compliance requirements relating to SFC Type 4 and Type 9 activities
4. Collaborative, self-motivated and able to work efficiently in a target-driven environment
5. Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
6. Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin。
