Providence Swedish Neuroscience Institute is recruiting a fellowship‑trained Functional and Epilepsy Cranial Neurosurgeon to join and help lead a growing, nationally recognized neuroscience program. This is a rare opportunity to shape and expand a comprehensive epilepsy and functional neurosurgery program within a collaborative, high‑acuity academic environment.
Position Highlights:
- Lead and grow an advanced functional and epilepsy neurosurgery practice, with approximately 40% subspecialty focus and the balance in general neurosurgery
- Compensation is between $858,913 and $1,225,139 per year
- Perform complex cranial procedures including SEEG, RNS, DBS, VNS, LITT, open epilepsy surgery, stereotactic procedures, and neuromodulation
- Practice primarily on the Issaquah campus while remaining fully integrated into the broader Swedish Neuroscience Institute for complex cases, inpatient care, and shared call
- Work alongside experienced advanced practice clinicians, neurophysiology, nursing, and perioperative teams that support high‑acuity surgical care
- Participate in weekly multidisciplinary epilepsy conferences and comprehensive pre‑surgical evaluation pathways
- Enjoy a sustainable call model supported by APC daytime coverage and cranial fellow support overnight and on weekends

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
