Description
General Purpose:Assist guests with check in and check out and serve as an information source for guests.
Please note this is a seasonal role lasting 6 months or less
days/nights weekdays/weekends
Essential Duties:
- Accurately posts all charges to guest's bills.
- Checks all guests in and out of the resort based on established procedures.
- Promotes activities and special events the facilities.
- Provides accurate and complete information about the resort and the surrounding area.
- Answers guest questions and provides directions.
- Accountable for all cash, checks and credit card receipts.
- Accountable for all printed folios and required supporting paperwork.
- Activates the appropriate emergency procedures in the event of a fire, accident, weather or medical emergency.
- Assists with faxing, copying and message taking duties.
- Promptly answers the phone and direct calls to the appropriate location.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, talks and hears. Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands. Occasionally sits, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Noise level is moderate.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
- Knowledge of lodging system application.
