Overview
A global investment firm is seeking its first finance hire in Asia to establish and lead the Singapore finance function. This is a standalone, high-impact role with regional ownership and close collaboration with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the Singapore finance function
• Ensure compliance with MAS and local regulatory requirements
• Oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax filings
• Act as the main liaison with regulators and external partners
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash management

Requirements

• 7-10 years of finance/accounting experience
• Prior experience dealing with MAS is essential
• Buy-side background preferred (hedge fund/asset management)
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulations and accounting standards
• Ability to work independently in a lean environment
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred
