Job Title: Field Director
Location: House districts across Oregon
Compensation: $4,000 to $4,250 per month, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time
Duration: 2026 Cycle
FuturePAC, the campaign committee of the Oregon House Democrats, is seeking to hire collaborative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Field Directors to help lead House Democrats and Democratic candidates to victory in the 2026 election cycle. Field Directors will be tasked with the recruitment and cultivation of dedicated volunteers and overseeing and executing direct voter contact.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Work to elect Democrats to the Oregon State House by working with the Campaign Manager and FuturePAC to implement overall field strategy
Create, communicate, track, and meet concrete voter contact and organizing goals
Manage and organize large amounts of incoming data. Build local grassroots volunteer teams that will engage in direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment and retention.
Implement grassroots organizing tactics, such as facilitating canvasses, phone banks, and community events.
Work to develop strong relationships with candidates, local stakeholders, and constituency groups, including county party leaders and members, local grassroots organizations activists, and partner groups.
Meet or exceed metrics-based goals for volunteer recruitment & retention as well as direct voter contact.
Be a representative of FuturePAC, your candidate, and their affiliates.
Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
Salary: $4,000-$4250 per month, depending on experience
Health, Dental, and Vision insurance is fully covered.
PTO and sick time.

Required Qualifications
Work, volunteer, academic, and life experience are all acceptable
Desire to advocate and work hard for Democratic values and candidates.
Strong interpersonal communication skills. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be able to connect with others, motivate others, and quickly gain trust with volunteers, staff, community members, and coalition partners, particularly across lines of difference. Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group.
Technical savvy and ability to learn to navigate VAN database
Relentlessly Goal-Oriented – Enjoys working toward and achieving ambitious goals. Keeps calm in stressful situations. Has the capacity and willingness to work non-traditional and sometimes long hours during peak season, rolling up their sleeves and getting the work done.
Cultural Competency – Able to build authentic relationships across lines of difference, such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, ability, gender identity, citizenship status, or other identities. Understands how to take an inclusive lens into all aspects of work.
Ability to work long days with irregular hours.
