We are working with a leading global investment bank that is continuing to invest in its electronic execution and systematic trading capabilities across Asia.

They are looking to hire a senior Electronic Sales Trader / Algo Coverage specialist in Singapore to help grow their institutional electronic execution business across APAC.

This is a front-office, commercially focused role for someone who combines strong institutional client coverage with genuine expertise in electronic and algorithmic trading.

The role
You will take ownership of senior institutional relationships across the region and act as the key commercial specialist around electronic execution.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Covering hedge funds, asset managers and other institutional clients across APAC
2. Growing electronic execution revenues, wallet share and client penetration
3. Advising clients on algo selection, parameters, features and execution performance
4. Helping clients optimise how they use the firm's electronic trading platform
5. Working closely with Algo Development, Quant Strategy and Execution Consulting teams
6. Analysing client trading behaviour and identifying opportunities to improve execution outcomes
7. Acting as the commercial link between clients, trading, quantitative and product teams
8. Contributing to the broader development of the firm's electronic execution franchise in Asia

What they are looking for

1. 10+ years of experience within equities, electronic trading or a closely related front-office function
2. Strong background in Electronic Sales Trading, Algo Sales/Coverage, Electronic Execution Sales or senior electronic trading
3. Established experience covering institutional clients across Asia
4. Strong knowledge of algorithmic trading and electronic execution workflows
5. Comfortable discussing algo behaviour, parameter configuration, execution performance and optimisation
6. Commercial track record with direct responsibility for client relationships and revenue growth
7. Strong quantitative and technical credibility when working with execution, quant and development teams
8. Understanding of the relationship between securities lending and electronic trading would be advantageous
