The Opportunity
CHP is seeking a dedicated Dentist to provide part-time dental services at Whatcom County Jail in Bellingham, Washington.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist looking for a consistent part-time schedule, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to provide meaningful care to an underserved patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Provide routine, restorative, and urgent dental care.
Complete dental assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions within the scope of the program.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with medical, dental, and custody teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain compliance with NCCHC, ACA, safety, and applicable clinical standards.
Participate in quality improvement efforts related to dental services.

Requirements
Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Washington Dentist license.
Current DEA registration.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum 1 year of dental practice experience.
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
Correctional healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
Administrative or leadership experience is a plus.
