Description

Preforms a variety of supervisory, semi-skilled, technical and maintenance work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of City water. sewer, street and storm drainage facilities and systems. Performs skilled labor alongside crew members while providing on-site leadership, direction, and coordination of daily work activities. This position ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with department standards and applicable and union agreements. 

Requirements

   Qualifications:

   Graduation of an accredited High School or higher.
   Valid Michigan CDL Class B License with air brakes and tanker endorsement.
   Valid S-2 Water Distribution License or higher.
   A minimum of 5 years, responsibility and varied experience within the City" Public Works Department, supplemented by some supervisory experience.
   Must carry a cell phone.
   Must be available for emergency overtime as needed.
