Description

•         Provide structured and informal counselling support using trauma informed, recovery orientated and person-centred approaches
•         Develop coping strategies, strengthen resilience and achieve their recovery goals
•         Complete psychological assessments and develop recovery-focused support plans
•         Work with clients who are on NDIS
•         Work with Victim Services clients
•         Onsite with the occasional working from home available

Requirements

•         Tertiary qualification in counselling
•         Registered as a level 3 or 4 member of the Australian Counselling Association
•         Demonstrated ability to manage high conflict individuals, youth  and families with complex issues
•         Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience as a fully registered provider of clinical services as a counsellor 
•         The ability to work confidently with diverse clients and a range of presenting issues
•         Be registered with or willing to register with Victims Services
•         Carry indemnity insurance
•         Have a current Working With Children Check clearance
•         Have a National Police Check completed in the last 12 months
