- Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job
Description
Become a vital part of a Phoenix, AZ hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform prescribed CT procedures in accordance with department policies and protocols, produce high-quality images, educate patients and families about procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and support efficient departmental workflow. You will follow safety and quality control processes, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities in radiology practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- State licensure required for AZ; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
- Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT[CT] or NMTCB[CT]) required within 18 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of CT experience.
- Demonstrated effective communication and human relations skills. Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 06:30 - 19:00.
- Shift Days: Days schedule.
- Travel assignment to a hospital in Phoenix, AZ; candidate should be prepared for varied work schedules as required by the client.
