The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering commercial insights that support and enhance business performance.
The position acts as a true strategic partner to regional leadership teams, providing analysis, guidance, and support to drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a strategic business partner to the CFO and regional leadership teams, providing commercial insight to support decision-making
- Lead financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities
- Deliver high-quality commercial analysis to identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support pricing strategies and provide commercial input to sales and operational teams
- Oversee management reporting, ensuring timely, accurate insights and meaningful variance analysis
- Monitor business performance against plan, recommending corrective actions where required
- Manage financial governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and internal control standards.
Your Skills & Experience
- (CA) highly regarded, ideally with experience in Big 4 or mid-tier professional services.
- Minimum 6-8 years' post-graduate commercial experience (essential)
- Strong background in P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting (essential)
- Experience within a large, multi-national or complex organisation, ideally within a US SOX-compliant environment
- Advanced capability in financial planning and modelling, including strong Excel and Power BI skills
- Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
