Job Summary
The Department of Health & Kinesiology at Purdue University seeks applicants for an academic-year (9-month) clinical faculty (non-tenure track) position (Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor) with a focus in clinical exercise physiology beginning August 16, 2027.
The successful candidate will teach within the Applied & Clinical Exercise Physiology graduate program and the BS in Kinesiology program. An ability to contribute to our Health and Wellness Coaching specialization is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will work with program and department leadership to develop and implement the Applied/Clinical Exercise Physiology concentration within our MS in Health and Kinesiology degree. In addition, the candidate will contribute to program accreditation. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative team at a leading public institution.
Applicants must hold a master’s or doctoral (preferred but not required) degree by the time of employment in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a related field (e.g. Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Human Performance). Applicants must have teaching experience and professional experience in applied and/or clinical exercise physiology. American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) or Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) certification is preferred.
