Our client is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join their team. As a HRBP, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will provide attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent time-management which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Onsite Human Resource Business Partner
Location: Newark, Delaware
Pay Range: $50/hourly, depending on experience
This is a 6-12 month contract position. Applicants must be willing and able to commit to the entire contract.
Job Duties
Provide hands-on, on-site HR support while partnering with the Director of Human Resources to ensure alignment with global HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Serve as a primary resource for employee relations, including investigating workplace concerns and promoting employee engagement initiatives.
Partner with managers to provide guidance on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
Track and report key HR metrics including headcount, hiring, turnover, and time-to-fill.
Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and identifying trends.
Participate in recruitment activities, including candidate interviews, evaluation, and selection.
Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS system and generate reports as needed.
Facilitate and support training and development programs aligned with business needs.
Contribute to special projects and HR initiatives as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
6+ years of progressive HR experience, including generalist responsibilities (preferably in a high-tech or fast-paced environment).
Strong background in employee relations, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and effectively.
Demonstrated skills in project management, organization, and multitasking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-service mindset.
Ability to think critically, assess risk, and provide practical, solution-oriented recommendations.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, knowing when to escalate issues.
Experience managing confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Adaptability and success in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
