Broker - US Casualty ConstructionLondon, Hybrid Working

Are you ready to accelerate your career by joining our market-leading team as a US Casualty Construction Broker?
Are you keen to use your skills to assist in contributing to the development of our business?
If so, then we'd love to hear from you in connection with this hybrid opportunity that involves a blended home/office working arrangement.
This role will involve assisting the marketing, negotiation and placement of US Casualty Construction business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the Marketing Strategy.

What the day will look like
- Assist in providing advice to clients and network colleagues on placement design, available capacity, likely pricing, and coverage
- Working with colleagues and clients on sophisticated, large capacity placements
- Assist in defining marketing strategy
- Assist in Lead quote broking / Follow market broking within Lloyd's and European market
- Assist in presenting quoted terms to client / network
- Firm Order broking (PPL / wet stamps / email)
- Review draft / final MRC for binding
- Sending Cover confirmation to Client / Network
- Co-ordination and monitoring of premium payments to the markets
- Assist in hosting Client meetings with Underwriters
- Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients

The existing team is comprised of specialist placing brokers supported by a dedicated Client Service Team.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Experience in broking Construction Liability business, either in the US, UK or International marketplace.
- Technical Insurance knowledge across Casualty / Construction
- Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
- Experience of placement of MRC contracts on the PPL platform
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
