Seeking a Board Director with Human Resources Expertise

Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking an experienced and committed Human
Resources professional to join our Board of Directors.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the
lives of people with disabilities and can bring strong HR knowledge, sound judgment, and a
strategic perspective to our Board.

The Opportunity

As a Board Director, you will contribute to the strategic leadership and governance of Easter
Seals NL while helping advance our mission:
“To engage, inspire, and maximize opportunities for people with disabilities of all ages by
providing meaningful programs and services.”

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in areas such as:
Human resources strategy and organizational development
Employment practices, policies, and workplace culture
Recruitment, retention, and talent development
Employee relations and performance management
Compensation, benefits, or workforce planning
Employment legislation and regulatory compliance
Change management and organizational transformation

Experience serving on a Board or committee, or in a senior leadership role, would be
considered an asset.
