Associate or Of Counsel Attorney 

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Job description:

Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson, a Seattle civil defense litigation law firm, seeks a bright, highly motivated Associate or Of Counsel Attorney licensed in Washington with exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.

Basic Requirements

Superior analytical, written, and oral communication skills
3+ years of substantive litigation experience
J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted to the WSBA
Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience in insurance coverage matters, including researching insurance coverage and drafting coverage opinions
Hands-on experience litigating insurance and extra-contractual insurance matters
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment
A motivated self-starter seeking increasing opportunities for professional growth and responsibility
Ability to work as a collaborative team player who can effectively work with paralegals and assistants to ensure efficient case handling
Unwavering commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
Judicial clerkship experience or prior court experience (ideal but not required)

The salary range for this position is $135k-$160k, and potentially more depending on experience, and a generous bonus opportunity. Also, currently included are full employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life, LTD health coverages, and an opportunity to join the 401k and profit plan after six months.

This position is in our Seattle Office.
