Description

We are seeking an attorney to assist our mortgage lender and servicer clients in consumer and commercial Texas bankruptcy and litigation matters.  The attorney will provide legal services in Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. The attorney will help facilitate client adherence to investor guidelines, as well as compliance with the requirements of the Bankruptcy Code, the Bankruptcy Rules, and the Local Rules.  The attorney will represent our clients in proceedings before Texas bankruptcy and federal district courts. The requirements for this position include: a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; an active (or pending) Texas bar membership; admittance to (or the ability to be admitted to) Texas federal courts; Texas real estate knowledge; and excellent legal research and writing skills.  Additionally, the attorney must be punctual, detail oriented, self reliant, and must be willing to listen and ask questions.
