Additional Information About the RoleStep into a high-visibility, newly created leadership role within the Nursing Resources department at Christian Hospital, supporting the Float Pool and House Supervisor teams. This unique opportunity allows you to help shape and define the role while gaining broad exposure to complex patient populations and hospital-wide staffing and care operations. Ideal for a dynamic, hands-on leader, this position offers strong potential for professional growth and meaningful impact across diverse clinical areas.
This role is scheduled five days per week, 8-hour evening shifts (1:00 PM–9:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with no call, holidays, or weekends, providing consistency and work-life balance in an operational leadership role.

Required Qualifications:
- Prior nursing leadership experience
- 3+ years of acute care nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ACLS certification

Overview

Christian was nationally ranked as “high performing” in the clinical specialty of geriatrics and in the following seven of 21 common procedures and conditions: heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia and stroke. Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.
The Nursing Resources Department is responsible for the 24 management of the major functions over nursing, clerical, and ancillary staff.

The Assistant Nurse Manager provides administrative support to Nurse Managers and direct reports. This includes coordinating patient care, performance management of direct reports, equipment purchasing/management, and statistical accumulation.
