Overview

We're looking for an Assistant Merchandise Manager ready to grow. This is a hands-on development role - you'll train directly under our Merchandise Manager, learn the full buying-to-retail cycle, and build the skills to become a Merchandise Manager in your own right.

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work on your feet
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Able to operate a golf cart (required)
• Available for weekends, holidays, and events

Essential Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Assist with day-to-day golf shop operations
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests
• Learn buying, merchandising & open-to-buy procedures
• Maintain shop displays and product presentation
• Receive and check in incoming merchandise
• Support inventory processes and monthly reporting
• Work with golf pros on tournament merchandise
• Handle special orders and member requests
• Operate and support POS systems
• Assist with seasonal changeovers and events
• Support billing and accounting submissions
• Help train golf shop salespersons
