Overview

McDowell Mountain Golf Club is seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This position will assist with daily golf operations, tournaments, merchandising, and guest services while working closely with other departments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience for every guest.

Experience Required

• Previous retail, hospitality, or golf course experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of golf and golf terminology is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable using POS systems and booking software

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Oversee all daily operations of the facility including golf operations & Golf merchandise concessions.
• Handle merchandise sales including apparel, equipment, and accessories.
• Provide knowledge of course offerings, memberships, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space.
• Support tournament operations and daily play coordination.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising displays.
• Promoting and operating the facility to drive revenue.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls.
• Keep all areas of the retail area clean and well-stocked.

Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
