Overview

Country Club of Wilbraham is actively looking to fill the role of Assistant Golf Professional. Country Club of Wilbraham is a Semi Private 18 Hole Facility with over 450 Members. The Assistant Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional with all aspects of the golf operation. This includes the Golf Shop, Daily Tee Sheet management, golf cart rentals, outside staff and the Practice Areas. The Assistant Professionals most important job is to provide Members and their guests with the best golf experience possible.

Experience Required

• 1 year in the golf industry
• At a minimum be enrolled in the PGA Associates Program
• Proficient in Golf Genius
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills - Word and Excel
• Detail oriented
• Teamwork - able to work with others
• Dependable - report to work on time with a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in Golf Shop Merchandising
• Monitor inventory levels
• Display mechandise is a organized manor
• Assist with special orders
• Answer the phone in a welcoming manor and give Members and guests accurate information
• Assist in tournament operations
• Create good relationships with Members and staff
• Teach lessons to Members
• Conduct clinics for Women and Juniors
