- Assistant Golf Professional
Description
The King and Prince Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to help deliver an exceptional private-club experience for our members and invited guests. This full-time position offers an emerging golf leader the opportunity to build relationships, develop professionally, and gain broad experience within the golf operations of The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort.
Working alongside the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant Golf Professional will support:
- Daily golf operations and pace of play
- Member tournaments, outings, and special events
- Golf instruction and player-development programs
- Golf shop sales, merchandising, and inventory
- Team member training and day-to-day leadership
- Tee sheet, handicap, tournament, and administrative systems
Ideal candidates will bring prior golf operations or private-club service experience, a working knowledge of the Rules of Golf and tournament procedures, and a genuine commitment to gracious hospitality. PGA Associate, PGA Professional, or active pursuit of PGA membership is highly desirable.
A flexible schedule is required, including early mornings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, and special events.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management, Hospitality Management, Business, Recreation, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in golf operations, a golf shop, tournament administration, instruction, or private-club service preferred.
- Enrollment in or active pursuit of PGA of America membership preferred.
- PGA Associate or PGA Professional status is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of the Rules of Golf, golf etiquette, handicap administration, and tournament procedures.
- Experience with tee sheet, point-of-sale, handicap, or tournament management software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
