Overview

Venetian Golf Club, part of Heritage Golf Group, is seeking a passionate and service-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This is a full-time, year-round position supporting the Head Golf Professional in delivering exceptional golf experiences for Members and guests while assisting with the daily operation of the golf shop, tournaments, instructional programs, and overall golf operations.

The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, and committed to providing outstanding service while helping grow the game of golf through instruction and member engagement. Previous golf industry experience is preferred but not required, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the golf industry.

Experience Required

• Interest in pursuing a career as a golf professional and growing within the golf industry.
• Previous golf operations experience at a private club, resort, or golf facility preferred, but not required.
• PGA registration or active pursuit of PGA Membership preferred.
• Passion for the game of golf and developing players of all skill levels.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Professional appearance and positive, service-first attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with Golf Genius tournament management software is a plus.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operations of the golf shop and overall golf operations.
• Manage tee sheet activity, check in golfers, and assist with tee time reservations.
• Assist with and provide golf instruction through private lessons, clinics, and player development programs.
• Support tournament operations, including planning, setup, scoring, and event execution.
• Assist with Golf Genius tournament setup and administration, as applicable.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and retail sales in the golf shop.
• Supervise and support outside services staff while coordinating daily golf operations.
• Maintain practice facilities and ensure they are organized and member-ready.
• Assist with member golf events, leagues, and club programming.
• Deliver exceptional service and create a welcoming experience for Members and guests.
• Uphold Heritage Golf Group and Venetian Golf Club standards for professionalism and hospitality.
