Overview

Reynolds Lake Oconee has seven Championship Golf courses. Due to growth in the community, Reynolds will add 2 new courses. Fenmoor will open in the Fall of 2026, and the 10-hole short course will open in the Fall of 2027. Therefore, Reynolds is looking to hire multiple Assistants across all golf facilities. The role of the Assistant Golf Professional is to assist the Head Professional in the day-to-day operations of the golf course, beverage cart, and snack bar operations.

Experience Required

• PGA Member desired, minimum of Level 1 PGA/PGM education
• Previous experience with a golf facility operation.
• Good computer skills to include experience in Word, Excel, and POS.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Experience in Golf Instruction to include Jr. Program and personal play.
• 1-2 years management experience.
• Must have a driver's license with a good MVR.

Essential Responsibilities

• Dedicated time and energy to ensure the enjoyment of golf for the Membership and our guests.
• Assists in overseeing the daily operations.
• Assists with training of new and existing staff.
• Assists in managing outside golf operations staff.
• Ensures golf car fleet is maintained.
• Ensures the practice facility is maintained.
• Assists in managing golf shop retail staff.
• Assists in the golf shop merchandise purchasing.
• Ensures all merchandise levels are maintained.
• Ensures golf shop is kept clean and organized.
• Works with daily, monthly, and annual financial records.
• Assists with daily, monthly, and annual round counts and budgeting.
• Uses Reynolds Lake Oconee purchase order systems.
• Maintains levels of supplies for operation.
• Enforces rules of golf and rules of Reynolds Lake Oconee.
• Assists with tournament operations of all member events.
• Assists with the tournament operations of Corporate Golf Events.
• Provides golf instruction.
