Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. They work closely with other staff members to create a professional, engaging experience for Emerald Bay Members and their Guests.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or Member in good standing (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with Golf Genius and golf shop operations preferred
• Passion for teaching and growing the game
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in all daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, point-of-sale systems, and Golf Genius tournament software
• Provide private and group instruction, including clinics and player development programs
• Execute tournaments and member events, including Monday outings
• Maintain golf shop standards, merchandising, and inventory control
• Deliver exceptional member service and uphold club standards
• Assist with maintenance of the golf car fleet and operation of the driving range
• Provide club repair to members and guests
