Overview

Responsible for assisting the Head Professional with the management of daily golf operations, including managing and tracking play, supervising golf staff, managing tournaments, and teaching lessons.

Experience Required

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-5 years golf industry experience preferred
• College degree (PGM) preferred
• PGA/LPGA Member or Apprentice, in good standing
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must have strong communication skills
• Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly
• Must acquire basic computer skills

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversees all outside services
• Manage tee sheets, check in guests, collect fees, and handle opening and closing procedures
• Supervise, train, and schedule golf staff, outside services, starters, and player assistants
• Coordinate guest outings, tournaments, and special events, from start to finish
• Monitor course flow, enforce rules, and resolve guest concerns professionally
• Implementation of all Agua Caliente policies and procedures
• Assists in administering all point of sales needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and guest billing
• Promotes all golf activities
• Assists in the creation of lesson plans, golf clinics, and provide individual and group instruction
• Works with Merchandise Manager to maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop
• Assists Merchandise Manager with procurement of merchandise
• Coordinates and supports group outings from start to finish
• Follows established opening and closing procedures
• Assists with new hire training
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
