Rosalia Sanni Design is an award-winning Greenwich-based design studio, known for creating uniquely personal landscapes designed to inspire people to go outside.

RSD begins each project with the goal of helping each client find their “outside” – the combination of spaces, activities and experiences that is so uniquely theirs. This involves listening intently, respecting the context of the site, and asking “what if?” – rather than imposing a design agenda and relying on a “clean slate” site to begin. The team works to understand the ways in which people live their lives and move through their homes and yards – developing the user experience flows that form the foundation of the design process. By carefully balancing competing elements from the viewpoint of end users, RSD consistently achieves landscapes that immediately feel cohesive and intuitive, while remaining enduring and flexible over time. For more than a decade this inside-out approach has ensured that every final product is not only beautiful, but also beautifully aligned with the lives and ambitions of the people it serves.

The studio offers comprehensive landscape design services, guiding projects from early site analysis and master planning through concept development, permitting, construction documentation, and implementation. Working closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and clients, RSD ensures each landscape is thoughtfully designed, carefully executed, and built to last.
