About the Role
The Alliance of Hormonal Health is seeking compassionate, knowledgeable, and National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC) to join our team as Certified Symptom Analysts.
In this dual-capability role, you will empower clients to navigate their hormonal health journeys through evidence-based lifestyle, nutrition, and stress management interventions. You will serve as a supportive guide, helping clients translate medical recommendations into sustainable daily habits that support optimal endocrine function while actively helping co-author the future of our coaching curriculum.

Dual Role & Workload Breakdown
1. Coach Role (Client Coaching)
Target Volume: Coach a total of 10 + clients
Logged Hours: Each client completes 22 sessions
Compensation: $30.00 per completed session ($660 per fully completed client).
2. Scholar Role (Curriculum Co-Author & Builder)
Commitment: Contribute 10 volunteer hours
Responsibility: Translate real-world 1-on-1 coaching insights, client friction points, and symptom tracking data directly into co-authoring the NBHWC curriculum.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities & Basic Duties
1. Client Assessment & Strategy
Intake & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive initial consultations to assess clients' health histories, lifestyle habits, stress levels, and specific hormonal health concerns.
Collaborative Goal Setting: Partner with clients to establish realistic, measurable, and action-oriented wellness goals tailored to their unique hormonal profiles.
Action Planning: Co-create individualized wellness plans focusing on the pillars of hormonal health, including sleep hygiene, nutrition, movement, and emotional well-being.
2. Ongoing Coaching & Support
1-on-1 Coaching: Facilitate regular coaching sessions using motivational interviewing and active listening to help clients overcome behavioral barriers.
Accountability: Track client progress, adjust action plans as necessary, and celebrate milestones to maintain high engagement and motivation.
Troubleshooting: Help clients identify triggers that exacerbate hormonal symptoms (e.g., fatigue, mood fluctuations, metabolic changes) and develop coping strategies.
3. Education & Care Coordination
Coaches understand they hold a dual role as a coach and co-author of the NBHWC. Curriculum (volunteered 10 hours a week).
- Health Literacy: Educate clients on foundational hormonal health concepts (e.g., cortisol regulation, thyroid function, reproductive hormones) so they can make informed lifestyle choices.
- Resource Curation: Provide evidence-based resources, handouts, and tools related to endocrine health.
- Provider Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the client and their primary care physicians or endocrinologists, ensuring coaching plans align with medical treatments and lab results.
- Teaching Commitment: Estimated 12 to 24 weeks per cohort NBC-HWC curriculum (secondary educator contract).
4. Administrative & Compliance
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant session notes and client records in our health management system.
Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest research in coaching methodologies and hormonal health to provide the highest standard of care.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Active credential as a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (e.g., NBC-HWC).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of specific experience working in hormonal health, OR Minimum of 1 year of active health and wellness coaching experience.
- Skills: Deep understanding of behavior change theories, strong empathetic communication, proficiency in motivational interviewing, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals through hormonal transitions.

Professional Liability Insurance Mandate: The Coach is required to hold active Professional Liability Insurance prior to beginning client sessions.
Recommended Provider: "Hands on Trade Association" (~$190/year investment). *Coverage: Select "Life Coaching" and additional professional focus areas matching your legal scope.
Policy Retention: The Coach automatically maintains insurance coverage for at least 1 year with "Hands on Trade Association". The Alliance of Hormonal Health carries no liability insurance on the Coach's individual policy. Client Ownership & Portability: The client belongs strictly to the Coach’s private business model. Upon the Client's completion of the Company's program, the Coach is permitted to independently retain and provide services to the Client through the Coach's private practice. The Coach shall owe no further fees, commissions, or compensation to the Company for any such subsequent independent services.
